If you are dry camping and/or at a park where generators need to be turned off at night, you should bring battery operated fans to keep cool, along with rechargeable LED lights, or battery-operated flashlights, as they help with the battery. Sheet sizes depend on the camper you have reserved and how many guests will be joining you, we will provide you with this information prior to your arrival. You'll also need blankets and towels, unless you have booked the luxury package with us, then we will let you know what all is included. You could also bring any of your own pillows for extra comfort. We provide a coffee maker, but be sure to bring your own coffee, bottled water for drinking and any other food, condiments you'll need. You’ll want to be sure to fill the fridge with cold items whenever you can, as opposed to warm or room temperature, as camper fridges have no problem keeping items cold, but they can take awhile to get a lot of items to a cold temperature when they don’t start off that way. We have everything you'll need for the kitchen such as pots, pans, dishes, cups, salad bowls, cutting board, colander, etc... but if you want to bring your own paper goods like paper plates, napkins, etc... feel free! We don't have a grill, but most campsites have a firepit with a grill rack overtop, so I'd bring aluminum foil and skewers, if you want to do smores. You can typically buy firewood in the area. We provide a lighter. Otherwise, feel free to bring your own outdoor grill. You'll need your own toiletries. Don't forget bug spray, long light layers for nighttime to keep protected from the mosquitoes. We don't allow use of our awning, so it's best to bring umbrellas/tents/canopy for shade. Don't hesitate to ask about any specific items that you should bring or leave home.
We like to schedule deliveries around your arrival time, which is close to the campground’s registration time. However, it’s best to communicate with us 2-3 days prior to the start of your vacation, so we can schedule your delivery time. Our window is typically between 12 - 4, depending on the campground & our schedule for that day. We will meet you at your campsite, unless alternate arrangements are discussed.
We love to have the opportunity to give in-person tours upon your arrival. However, in certain circumstances, we may have to give a tour over the phone, if your arrival doesn’t coincide with our delivery. We also have video tours of each camper that you should review prior to your arrival to get familiarized with the camper you will be staying in and how things work. If you have any specific questions prior to your arrival, please do not hesitate to ask, after reviewing our FAQ.
You certainly can, but you need to be very conservative with them. Only have them on when you are using them and turn them off when you are not. We really recommend bringing your own solar or battery-operated lights.
Yes, we try to coordinate turning the refrigerator on the day before your arrival so you have it cold. We do suggest putting already cold items in the fridge & freezer, otherwise, it takes quite a bit of energy and time to get the room temperature items cold. We also suggest not overstuffing the fridge and freezer. You won’t have any issue using the refrigerator or the freezer during your stay providing you don’t let the battery die. Please always keep the refrigerator on the auto setting and don’t switch it back and forth. As mentioned in a previous tab, we strongly suggest having a generator if you are planning to rent any of our campers with an electric fridge (2021 or newer except the 2021 32' Zinger), if you don't have an electric site, as these refrigerators do run on electric, not propane.
We offer the luxury package select dates of the year. Please inquire directly to see if this is something we can add on for you. The package is designed to reduce the amount you need to pack, so you can just show up and let your vacation begin. It includes an outdoor rug, 4 camp chairs, sheet sets for all of the beds in the bedrooms, 4 bath & beach towel sets and 2 portable battery-operated 5" fans with your first set of batteries. We do recommend you bring extra D batteries, as each fan holds two and we provide your first set. We do not provide sheet sets for the dinette or sofa beds, you would need to bring those, if you are planning to use them. Also, depending on the year, we may be able to rent a screened-in pop up that goes over the picnic table, which we set up upon delivery and/or an open-air tall shade tent for your campsite or for you to use at the beach. Just inquire to see about adding this onto your reservation!
